Abstract

IPv6 is different than the IP, or rather IPv4, that we know and are so familiar with. It offers an abundace of addresses, Largely autocon figures itself and offers a set of new features, some of which have been only known from telephony networks until now.

Authors Description 

Benedikt Stockebrand is freelance system architect and trainer with a strong focus on the operational aspects of Unix (in the broadest sense) and TCP/IP networking in large distributed and data center environments. He is "Diplom-Informatiker", the German equivalent of a MSc in computer science.

He is currently writing a book on IPv6 operation on Unix to augment his workshops on the same subject.
