Claudio Jeker and myself implemented bgpd(8) in OpenBSD. We started long before Paul Watson's "Slipping The Window" paper got a broader audience interested in BGP security.
I am going to describe how we implemented bgpd, BGP weaknesses and attack paths, and what we did to secure BGP.
