FreeSBIE is a liveCD based on the FreeBSD operating system. Version 1.0 was released on march 15th and has been downloaded almost 15.000 times. It consists of a series of scripts to even create your very own CD withouth much effort. To put this altogether, the team has focused on using the facilites provided by FreeBSD to develop an intelligent solution. It can be used both as a tryout method, or as a stable solution for firewalling, security auditing, and so on.
In this talk, FreeSBIE core team members Matteo Riondato and Massimiliano Stucchi will let you browse through the source code and the "technology" which helped creating FreeSBIE, and will show an example of High availability solution built using FreeSBIE and MySQL cluster.
